An emerging female footballer, Browne’s goal scoring navigated East Kingstown to the inter- league title and System Three to third place in the club championships, behind Camdonia A and Dig Deep Warriors.

She also was adjudged as East Kingstown’s Most Valuable Player.

Browne is a member of the senior St Vincent and the Grenadines team which lifted the inaugural Windward Islands Football Association’s title in April.

Others, however, had to play second fiddle to Browne at last Friday night’s ceremony.

Among them were Teneka Baptiste of North Windward who was the Top Goalkeeper in the inter-community league competition, along with Most Outstanding Defender Amalis Marshall of East Kingstown and Most Outstanding Midfielder Hollester Browne, also of East Kingstown.

In the club championships, Camdonia swept the departmental awards.

The Most Outstanding Goalkeeper was Anesta Richards; Most Outstanding Defender, Geziel Wilson and Most Outstanding Midfielder, Chrislyn Browne. The trio are also members of the senior St Vincent and the Grenadines team.(RT)
