SVG represented at Caribbean TT championships

Five table tennis players are representing St Vincent and the Grenadines in the 2015 Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Championships in Martinique, July 3 to 8.{{more}}

The team, which left last Wednesday morning, comprises national singles champion Damion Dublin, Romano Spencer, Deighton King, Javier De Shong and Joseph Carrington, who is player/coach.

The players will contest the team championships, the singles, while De Shong is also placed in the Under-21 singles category and Carrington – the masters.

Also part of the Vincentian contingent is Orville Haslam, who is the technical advisor of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association; he doubles up as manager.

This, the 57th hosting of the Caribbean Championships, will take place at the Palais Des Sports de Trenelle, Ville de Riviere-Sallee.(RT)
