The two teams had their moments of glory last Sunday at the Grammar School Playing Field, when the grand finale of the fourth edition of the competition shut up shop.

Second half strikes from Nicholi Williams and Marlon St John gave the Ministry of Education the title, as the 2013 champions ECGC got dethroned. First time finalists, the Ministry of Education, joined inaugural winners Vinlec and 2012 champions Digicel, as those to have inscribed their names on the challenge trophy.

Before the Ministry of Education had their time of celebrations, ADARE had copped the Agriculture Input Warehouse Under-15 division, beating System Three team one 7-5, in kicks from the penalty spot, after both teams had played to a nil-nil draw in normal time.

ADARE, who copped the round robin segment, had missed out on the Knockout, beaten by Central Shooters in kicks from the penalty spot.

Prior to Sunday’s finals, the Ministry of Transport beat CWSA one-nil, to take the third place in the Senior Division, while Central Shooters won 3-1 over Owia to win the third place in the Under-15.

Both matches took place on Saturday at the same venue.(RT)
