The Facey Trading Firms/Industrial Netball tournament will shoot off with a bang on Saturday, October 4, at the Kingstown Netball Centre.{{more}}

All netball lovers and supporters are invited to come out in their numbers to witness the opening of what promises to be an exciting and action packed firms/industrial tournament.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and will see several teams on parade, marching to the beat of Potential Steel Orchestra. Each team is expected to do a one minute promotional speech for its sponsor to assist with the visibility of the firm and ensuring that the sponsors get value for money. Saturday’s opening will also include a game. The names of the teams will be announced later this week.

Addresses are expected to come from Cecil McKie, Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture; Dellarice Duncan, president, SVGNA and Alpian Toney, brand manager, Facey Trading Ltd.

Other attractions will include a dance performance from a popular dance group.
