This occasioned a celebration, which obviously had been planned, as the food and drinks emerged in an instant, almost immediately after the winning run was achieved.
The opening pair of Samantha Lynch – 66 not out and Clea Hoyte – 25 not out, steered United Survivors to 114 without loss.
Lynchâs knock was propelled by 12 fours, as she led the charge.
Rising Stars had batted first and scored 112 all out in 29.5 overs. The lead batters for Rising Stars were Rowesh Glasgow with 23 and Crystal John, 18. Both struck four fours in their stay at the crease.
Bowling for United Survivors, Clea Hoyte had 3 for 13, Shevorne Clarke 3 for 29, with Samantha Lynch and Kimon Homer picking off 2 for 23 and 2 for 29, respectively.
United Survivors ended with seven wins and one loss, to top the standings ahead of JG Tigress.
Their only blemish was against Garifuna Stars in the second round of the competition, as the five teams played each other twice. The other team in the competition was Northern Girls Combine.
The top players from the competition will go into training for possible selection to the St Vincent and the Grenadines team for the 2014 regional womenâs tournament, slated for Dominica in August.(RT)
