Shallow hits first division century

Kishore Shallow hit the first century of the new 55-over format of the National Lotteries Authority First Division of the national cricket programme.{{more}}

The Buccament Bay Playing Field was the venue for his innings of 102 versus Ruddy’s Electrical Unique Warriors, as Victors Two posted 256 for 8 declared from 44 overs.

The left-handed Shallow crafted 8 fours and 4 sixes in his century, while Akeem Shallow chipped in with 39.

In response, Unique Warriors crashed to 75 all out from 27 overs.

Damal Philips, 5 for 24, and Jamal Nash, 4 for 31, proved the undoing for the Unique Warriors batsmen, who were defeated by 181 runs.

Also last Sunday, Triumph United Cricket Club A stopped Radcliffe Too by 73 runs at Stubbs.

Ronique Laborde, 32, top scored in Triumph United’s 174 all out, from 41.3 overs. Mahlon John spearheaded Radcliffe Too’s bowling as he gathered 4 for 37.

Radcliffe Too reached 101 in 21.3 overs; Shawn Browne hit 27, as Ronique Laborde, 3 for 22, and Maxwell Edwards, 2 for 8, bowled their team to victory.

At North Union, Police Three ousted Robertson’s Surveying Belmont United by 46 runs.

Police Three scored 91 all out, in 18 overs; Maxiann Richardson hit 33, and Dominique Stowe, 23.

Mikayan Delpeche grabbed 5 for 13 and Augustus Mofford, 3 for 16, bowling for Belmont.

At their turn, Belmont were sent packing for 45 in 18 overs.

Elgin Richards, 2 for 7, Renford Jack, 2 for 3, were the main wicket takers for the latest addition to the lawmen’s cricket line.

And, at Arnos Vale Two, Smashers overcame Ishallz Byam Physical Therapy by 27 runs.

Scores: Smashers 104 all out; Raydon Bentick, 40. Javon Samuel snapped up 6 for 27.

Ishallz Byam Physical Therapy 77 all-out; Omar Tucker, 34.
