With its catchment and feeders being the Layou Government School, the Central Leeward Secondary School and, by extension, the communities of Layou and Barrouallie, N2Pâs youngsters were out in full glow when Team Athletics SVG held its 2013 presentation and awards ceremony last Saturday afternoon at Frenches House.
N2P was the dominant team in the 2013 National Juvenile Championships, copping seven individual awards.
Dawson Joseph and Kiandra Lynch were the male Under-7 and the female Under-7 champions respectively.
Similarly, Kelvin Velox took the male Under-9 and Jodesha Samuel copped the female award for that age group.
Velox also added the most outstanding male title to the list.
Also filling up N2Pâs trophy cart were Uroy Ryan, the male Under-9 champion and Jamal Lowman, the male Under-13 top performer.
The other recipients of individual accolades at the juvenile exposé were Shania Pompey, Zanisha Myles, Shaffiqua Maloney and Shemar Welcome.
Pompey, of the Richland Park Primary School was the female Under-11 winner, and Myles from the Du Bois Primary â the female Under-13 champion.
Maloney, who represented IT-DAT, easily won the female Under-15 and was the most outstanding female, and Welcome of the Central Leeward Secondary was the male Under-15 champion.
The Chester Morgan led N2P has an opportunity to register back-to-back wins, as Team Athletics will host the 2014 edition of the National Juvenile Championships, this Saturday at the Arnos Vale Playing Field. (RT)
