Just promoted Police One will start their 2014 season playing Team Rivals 1, which shared title holder with Victors 1 last season.
The Police One and Team Rivals 1 match up will take place at Arnos Vale 2 playing field. This will be the lone match this weekend.
The First Division season will bowl off on the following weekend, February 16, 2014, with teams greatly anticipating the new one day format, following the decision taken at the last AGM to restructure the cricket at that level.
The restructuring will now facilitate the early commencement of the local female tournament, which is also set to start in early March, 2014.
Last yearâs local season saw some outstanding performances, with 11 centuries, and 4 ten wicket hauls.
