Williams tallied the most runs — 265 and hit the most sixes — 37, to be the most influential performer in the 2013 edition.

This was the major individual award claimed by Novice.

The competition’s Top Wicket Taker was Rolando Wright of new champion Owia Young Strikers. Wright snared 18 wickets.

Wright also gathered the Player of the Final award for his 3 for 16 and his 33 not out.

Zanell Baptiste, also of Young Strikers, held the most catches – 7, while Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem’s Cean Phillips collected the Best Wicket Keeper award for his four catches and four stumpings.

The 2013 competition had two centurions — Javil Harry of Fully Loaded Ballers (112) and Combined Sixers’ Richie Richards — 103.

Off the field of play, Anthony Glasgow was adjudged as the most loyal spectator.

The team awards saw Fully Loaded Ballers — the Best Dressed team and Dr Thomas Injectors — the Most Disciplined Team.

This year marked the tenth year of the competition, which is played at the Greiggs Village Playing Field. (RT)
