Travel Treat’s top bowler was Imran Kahn, who took 3 for 39.

But the match ended prematurely, after the Travel Treat players verbally abused the umpires over a catch. Travel Treat refused to continue the match, so the match was awarded to Imperial.

At that point, Travel Treat was 60 for 3.

But the other Vincentian team in action, Cavaliers, was on the losing end against a Barbadian team, St Catherine, at Marine Park A.

Cavaliers batted first and scored 151 all out in 39 overs. Andrew Marsh, 43 and Casper Davis 33, were the principal contributors to the total.

In response, St Catherine reached 154 for 7 in 30 overs. Don Parris hit a top score of 44 not out.

This Saturday at Sea View, it will be another all Vincy clash between Imperial and Queensbury, while at Marine Park C, Cavaliers meet Pak Stallions.

On Sunday, Queensbury will be in action again, this time against Pak Stallions at Marine Park A, and at Marine Park B, Cavaliers and Travel Treat will do battle.(RT)
