Quencha Tennis tie-breaker serves off tomorrow

The first ever Quencha tie-breaker tennis tournament takes place tomorrow,{{more}} at the Grassroot Tennis Club on Murray’s Road from 4 p.m.

This, as the popular bag juice entity teams up with the GTC to host an afternoon of tennis.

The tournament will be played in a round-robin draw and each match will consist of three tie-breakers. The winner will be decided from a tally of points.

The tournament, open to all clubs and individuals, is expected to attract the young and seasoned players alike.

Among the seasoned entrants are Onike Spann and Trevor Sam, who will rub shoulders against the young and energetic Rafai Bentick, Shania Williams, Imani King and Antonio Caine.

The winner and runner-up of the tie-break tournament will receive prizes from Quencha.

With their tennis taste buds whetted, the attention will then turn to the Karib Cable mixed doubles tournament, which will follow also at the GTC on November 24. (RT)
