Team for OECS swim meet selected

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Amateur Swimming Association successfully held its first Organisation of East Caribbean States (OECS) time trials event at the Shrewsbury Pool Facility at Ratho Mill on Saturday.{{more}}

Local swimmers from various groups throughout the country competed in a variety of swim strokes and distances, with categories ranging from 8 and Under to 18 and Over, both male and female.

The trial was held to select the athletes for the St Vincent & the Grenadines Team competing in the OECS Swimming Championships, slated for November 9 to 11, in Antigua and Barbuda.

Countries confirming their participation so far this year include defending champions St Lucia, Grenada, British Virgin Islands, St Vincent and the Grenadines and host Antigua and Barbuda.
