Two sets of brothers are part of St Vincent and the Grenadines T/20 training squad announced last week by senior national Cricket selectors, Selwyn Allen, Stanley Hinds, Urias King and Elvis Browne.{{more}}
The Browne and Harper brothers are among a squad of 28 named for the Windward Islands tournament, set for this August, at a venue to be decided.
The three Browne brothers are Salvan, Shem and Javandean. Salvan and Shem have played for the senior T-20 team before; however, Javandeanâs national representation has been at the Under-19 level.
The other siblings in the mix are Wayne and Andy Harper.
Asif Hooper, Romario Bibby, Darren Greaves, Kadier Nedd, Cosmos Hackshaw, Elron Lewis and Roniel Jeffrey have been called up for the first time to the senior team.
Again finding favour with national selectors is Harley Skerritt, who has been out in the cold for a few years, because of some infractions.
Also among those making the provisional squad is Miles Bascombe, who has played for the West Indies at the international level in T/20.
Lindon James has the recommendation of the selectors to continue in the role as captain of the team.
Completing the squad are Sunil Ambris, Alston Bobb, Atticus Browne, Keiron Cottoy, Donwell Hector, Dellorn Johnson, Ray Jordan, Desron Maloney, Kenroy Peters, Marvin Small, Casmond Walters, Kesrick Williams and Rolando Wright.
Grenada won last yearâs competition, dethroning inaugural champions of 2010, Dominica. (RT)
