Permaul and left-arm fast bowler Vincentian Delorn Johnson shared all ten wickets, as the West Indies A Team routed the India A Team for 94 in the second innings to win the second Digicel Test match by a whopping 125 runs.
Permaul, who was rewarded with a Blackberry smart-phone, compliments Digicel, said that he was very happy to be recognized as Man of the Match and just as happy to be rewarded by sponsors of West Indies cricket Digicel.
âThanks to Digicel for sponsoring and supporting usâ, said Permaul.
DeRoche said that the small token of recognition is just the companyâs way of encouraging players and recognizing their accomplishments.
Meanwhile it was noted that Permaulâs and Johnsonâs superb bowling performance earned the West Indies a series-levelling result following the narrow two-wicket defeat they suffered in the opening Digicel âTestâ in Barbados a week ago.
