United Survivors extend their unbeaten run
United Survivors notched up back to back wins last Saturday at the Stubbs Playing Field, and continue to steam roll the inaugural RBTT Womenâs T/20 Cricket Competition.{{more}}
First up, United Survivors dismantled Rising Stars by 112 runs.
Cordel Jack laced 63 and Samantha Lynch 48, to prop up United Survivorsâ total of 142 for 2 from their 20 overs. Jimisha Hackshaw also contributed 23.
Fielding only nine players, Rising Stars could only muster 30 for 8. Edelyn Turtin top scored with 12.
Bowling for United Survivors, La Toya Providence grabbed 3 for 5 and Kimon Hooper had 2 for 5.
United Survivors then turned their venom on Tigress, humbling them by five wickets.
Tigress posted 70 for 7, batting first. Sheree Ann John was the main scorer with 18.
Camille Garrick had 2 for 4, bowling for United Survivors. In response, United Survivors, led by Samantha Lynchâs 23, reached 72 for 5.
Annecia Williams was Tigressâ most successful bowler, taking 3 for 22. (RT)
