Three national sporting associations get NOC courses

The NOC of St Vincent and the Grenadines, working from Olympic Solidarity, the developmental arm of the International Olympic Committee, is funding the courses, which form the quadrennial programme of Olympic Solidarity.
The local Taekwondo association will, from July 13 to 23 this year, host its course, with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation slotted in for the November 19 to 23.
But in for the biggest splash is the SVGASA, the latest addition to the NOC family.
The SVGASA is the beneficiary of a six-month course to be conducted by Barbadian David Framer.
This was only made possible now that the SVGASA has a pool suitable to conduct such an extensive undertaking.
At present, the final details of the course are being mapped out.
The cost of the course is US$25,000.
Other associations such as Team Athletics SVG, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Volleyball Association and the St Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation have benefitted from such programmes in the past.
