The coaching session, which took place last Wednesday at the resort, was arranged by Buccament Bay Resort as a continuation of Harlequin Hotels & Resortsâ dedication to being a socially responsible and beneficial presence in St Vincent & the Grenadines and the Caribbean region as a whole.
Curbishley led the session at the resortâs Liverpool FC International Academy Soccer School, which hosts master class football coaching by famous names throughout the year.
A release from the resort said âthe esteemed Liverpool Football Club is an eager contributor to Harlequin Hotels & Resortsâ mission: their Under-18s squad played in a Harlequin Hotels & Resorts-sponsored match against the SVG Under-20s at Arnos Vale
Stadium1, which was free for the public to attend; and, during the same visit, the squad delighted St Vincent school children at four schools by signing autographs and coaching sessions.â
Chairman of Harlequin Hotels and Resorts, Dave Ames, shared his delight at the resort providing the opportunity for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation: âThis is a great addition to our ongoing commitment to providing opportunities to the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines. In this case it is another exciting contribution to sports, but weâre also advertising more new jobs at Buccament Bay Resort to the SVG public, and there are many more opportunities to come.â
