Following ASCOâs dismissal for 14 runs in a Premier Division match against Radcliffe two weekends ago, Victors Two went two runs better, as they shot out Sion Hill for 12 runs in a First Division match last weekend at the Buccament Bay Playing Field.
Batting the second time, after making 29 in the first innings, Sion Hill was bowled out for 12 runs.
Damal Phillips was the main wicket taker, with 6 for 7, and Javed Harry picked up 3 for 7.
In Sion Hillâs first innings, Harry had snared 5 for 11 and Phillips 5 for 17. Phillips had match figures of 11 for 24 and Harry 8 for 24.
Victors Two had batted first and made 160 for 6 declared, with Nicholas Baptiste making 66.
There was drama of a different kind at the North Union Playing Field, as Radcliffe Too and Unique Warriors met, in another First Division fixture.
Unique Warriors made 85 all out in their first innings. Christopher Campbell made 31. Kenrick Peters and Kareem Peters, both grabbed 4 for 22, bowling for Radcliffe Too.
In response, Radcliffe Too scored 90. Joseph Medford took 5 for 17, to be unique Warriorsâ most successful bowler.
The drama came as the cricket ball that the Radcliffe Too captain presented to the umpires before they took to the field for the second innings did not meet the standard requirements and the match was deemed forfeited by Radcliffe Too.
However, a release from the St Vincent Cricket Association stated that, as the local governing body of the sport, it âwill make a determination in due course with regards to the outcome of this gameâ. (RT)
