Crew takes the G’town zone of the Guinness Street Football Challenge

The Guinness Street Football Challenge continued at the Georgetown Hard Court on May 4, with nine teams competing in a “round-robin” match.{{more}}

‘Crew’ was the winning team of the Georgetown zone.

The matches continue next weekend at the Richland Park Hard Court and the Rose Bank Hard Court, both on Saturday, May 19.

The winning team from each zone wins $500 and a case of Guinness. The overall winning team would receive $2,000, 5 cases of Guinness and represent St Vincent in a Caribbean final to take place in Guyana on June 23.

To further inspire greatness in the community, the team that wins will have a multipurpose, street football pitch built for their community, courtesy of Guinness.
