Street Fighters, RSVG Police win in Greiggs Softball Competition

Street Fighters and the RSVG Police recorded victories in the Sea Operations SVG Limited Greiggs Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the Greggs Playing Field last weekend.{{more}}

Street Fighters recorded a nine-wicket win over Fully Loaded Ballers in the lone match played on Saturday.

Batting first, Fully Loaded Ballers was shot out for a meager 27 runs in 10.5 overs.

Brenton Arrindel bagged 5 for 17, and Richie Richards took 3 for 5.

Street Fighters rushed to 33 for 1 in 3.3 overs; Jeffrey Lorraine top scored with 17.

Saturday’s other scheduled game between Young Attackers and Valliers has been re-scheduled.

In Sunday’s lone fixture, the RSVG Police beat Digicel Stallions by 55 runs.

The law officers took first knock and made 113 for 9 from their 20 overs. Elmore Alexander top- scored with 24; Anthony Nero captured 3 for 11, bowling for Stallions.

Stallions, in their reply, were dismissed for 58 runs in 12.1 overs. Marley Duncan led the way with 18. Rolando Wright snared 5 for 10, bowling for Police.

Sunday’s other matches between Fully Loaded Hard Knocks and Rankers and Sea Operation Nah Fren Dem and Glen United has been re-scheduled in light of the inclement weather. (RT)
