Neil’s innings gave the Academy first innings points over Log Enterprises Masters, at the Stubbs Playing Field, as only one match had a definitive result in the National Lotteries Authority First Division.

It was a tale of two distinct age groups, as Log Enterprises Masters took first strike and was dismissed for 85, with Lynton Greaves making 39. David Murray took 3 for 11, bowling for the youngsters.

Then it was the Neil show when the Academy batted. Elvis Browne took 4 for 30 and Joseph Medford, 2 for 68, bowling for Log Masters.

Batting a second time, Log Masters was at 87 for 7 at the close of play. Elvis Browne had a good match as he made 30. Joelano Neil crowned off a good all-round performance with 4 for 18, and T’ Shaka Patterson picked up 2 for 9.

At the North Union Playing Field, it was a no decision between Radcliffe Too and Pastures Youths, as no play was possible on day two, Sunday.

Radcliffe Too posted 203. Renrick Peters hit 31. Isaac Trimmingham was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 19, and Travis Cumberbatch took 3 for 35. Pastures was 62 for 6 at the close of play on Saturday. (RT)
