Making their debut are Marvin Small, Casmond Walters and Shem Browne.
Small and Walters are former under-19 players, while Browne has distinguished himself in the Bequia 20/20 competition over the years. He is the brother of regular national player Salvan Browne.
The team also sees the return of Kissinger Mc Lean, a hard hitting lower order batsman and a medium fast bowler.
Lindon James leads the team, which also includes Donwell Hector, Alston Bobb, Drumo Toney, Kenroy Peters, Rolando Wright, Dyke Cato and Hyron Shallow.
Notable absentees are left arm fast bowler Dellorn Johnson and right arm leg spinner, Kieron Cottoy, batsman Sunil Ambris and fast bowler Kesrick Williams.
Johnson and Cottoy are in Barbados attending the High Performance Center, with Ambris engaged in writing external examinations.
Williams, who earlier this year, made his debut for the Windwards in the WICB four-day regional competition, did not find favour with the selection of Chairman Selwyn Allen, Stanley Hinds, Eric Browne, Urias King and Linden James.
Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Windwards and West Indies fast bowle, Nixon Mc Lean is the teamâs coach and Irvine Warrican, also a former St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Windwards player, and the Development Officer for Cricket in the Windward Islands, the Manager.
Dominica won the 2010 inaugural competition which was staged here last year July.
Following this yearâs competition, the Windwards team will be selected for the West Indies T/20 Competition. (RT)
