Liverpool FC U-19 team to visit SVG

The Liverpool FC U-19 International Team will be visiting St. Vincent for a few days from May 17.{{more}}

They will be playing an international friendly game with SVG U-20 Team on May 19 at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex from 4:00 pm.

The event is fully sponsored by the Harlequin Sports Academy of the Buccament Bay Resort. Admission is, therefore, free.

On Friday, May 20, the Liverpool FC Team and their coaches will visit schools, followed by a short coaching session with the children. Four schools have been selected, based on proximity to the adjacent Grammar School playing field. They are: St. Vincent Grammar School, Thomas Saunders Secondary School, CW Prescott Primary School and the Kingstown Preparatory School. The visit will begin at 10:00 am, with Meet & Welcome at the school with principal, children and PE teacher, presentation of gifts to the school, followed by a short coaching session on the playing field with the children and end at 11:30 am.

On Saturday, May 21, the Harlequin Sports Academy will host an event at the Buccament Bay Resort, where the Liverpool Coaches and their Team will give coaching sessions to local children from four schools in the South Leeward area.
