Victors One remains unbeaten
Victors One inched closer to a possible title in the pedestrian pace RBTT Premier Division of the national Cricket competitions, with a comprehensive innings and 29 runs over Victors Two at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field last weekend.{{more}}
Victors Two was dismissed for 48, with Donwell Hector taking 4 for 6 and Ray Jordon 2 for 13.
Victors One in response made 144 for 7 declared. Atticus Browne topscored with 68.
And, batting a second time, Victors Two reached 62. Norlan Williams 3 for 17, Ray Jordon 2 for 11, Atticus Browne 2 for 13 and Donwell Hector 2 for 17, all ensured their teamâs third successive win in as many matches.
In the First Division, Ruddyâs Electrical Unique Warriors also recorded an innings win over their opponents, Smashers, at the Stubbs Playing Field.
Unique Warriors, on the back of Leon Samuelâs 73, Harley Skerrittâs 43 and Courtney Mc Dowaldâs 42, reached 221. Marvin Harry was the pick of Smashersâ bowling with 5 for 76 and Cornelius Springer took 2 for 7.
Smashers at their turn made 121. Ronald Scott was the topscorer with 40. Samuel Byam snared 4 for 31 and Darrell Russell 3 for 21.
Asked to follow on, Smashers was bundled out for 40. Darrell Russell bagged 7 for 5 and Samuel Byam 2 for 3.
And, the other set match in that division, ended in a no decision, as no play was possible on Sunday at the North Union Playing Field.
The match between Rivals Two and Belmont ended in a no decision after it was rained out. Rivals two had scored 171, with Julian Edwards making 47 and Peter Campbell 46. Selwyn Caine picked up 4 for 32. Belmont was 42 for 3, with Jerome Samuel 26 not out when rain stopped play. (RT)
