The Netball extravaganza formed part of the Girlsâ High School Centenary celebrations.
With fun the main ingredient, the rivalry among especially the senior past students was intense.
The highlight of the afternoon was the 11-11 tie between Grimble and Staff in the senior past category, as glimpses of past stalwarts were rekindled.
Among those who have left their mark on the local Netball, and who were on show last Saturday were former St. Vincent and the Grenadines senior captain Stephanie Boyce, and the accomplished all round athlete Joanne Sam.
Those over fifty years rolled back the years, giving brief highlights of their abilities, although the legs and stamina were not in unison with their enthusiasm.
And, there was no letting up of support, as the four Houses , Grimble, Headmistress, Staff and Moffett, had the band of supporters decked out in their house colours, red, blue, green and yellow cheering those on court.
But it was more than Netball, as there were the many greetings, hugs and kisses, as many persons renewed acquaintances and relived past experiences at the institution which helped shaped their future.
