The place playoff in the Doubles will be between Kendal Charles and Luc Velox against the pair of Kamal Hunte and Romano Spencer, while the final will pit Robert Ballantyne and Carlton Daniel versus Khalique Bailey and Desmond Shallow.
Through to the quarter finals of the singles are Kamal Hunte, Junior Byron-Cox, Carlton Daniel, Desmond Shallow, Kendall Charles, Robert Ballantyne, Romano Spencer and Khalique Bailey.
The semi finals in the team play feature AVESCO Stars versus Police and game two will feature MV Strikers against Third Eye Security Services.
The tournament got going last Friday evening at the same venue, with the team competition involving seven units.
But the opening was not without some drama, after the organizers, the Executive of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association, debarred Sean Stanley from participating. Stanley, earlier in the day was served with a letter, requiring him to respond with an apology stemming from an incident in 2008, in St. Lucia, during the OECS Championships.
Stanley, though, sought to register two teams from the Sean Stanley Table Tennis Academy.
The Executive did not object to the registration of the teams, but minus Stanley, who did not adhere to the stipulation, and his teams chose not participate in the tournament. (RT)
