Business Houses Table Tennis opens
The second edition of the Scotia Bank Sean Stanley Table Tennis Academyâs Business Houses Table Tennis Competition opened last Monday evening at the Old Anglican School Annex.{{more}}
And, already jumping out in front were SG De Freitas team two and Stangro Supermart.
SG De Freitas team two beat KPMG 3-1 and Stangro Supermart disposed of SVGTV 3-0.
Fourteen teams registered, including first time entrants East Caribbean Metals, the Bank of St. Vincent, SVG TV and the St. Vincent Brewery.
Group One comprises Excel Media, Police, SG De freitas two, Sagicor, East Caribbean Metals, KPMG and Bank of St. Vincent.
In Group Two are Media Writers, Searchlight Newspaper, S.G. De Freitas team one, Stangro Super mart, St. Vincent Brewery and SVGTV.
No current or former national players are allowed to participate in the competition, which is aimed at giving employees opportunity for recreational activities, away from their sometimes taxing daily schedule.
