The Road Relay forms part of the National Lotteries Authority Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestraâs 30th anniversary celebrations.
The first leg will see runners start off at the Sion Hill Intersection up Sion Hill Village through the Cane Garden by pass road, and hand over at Free Baptist Church. The second leg travels through Roseau, with the next change over taking place in front of the Sealesâ residence. The third leg follows the main Roseau route, turning left at LIME Building on to Walvaroo, with the next change over at Norma Smithâs shop.
The final leg takes the Walvaroo path on to the main road and back to the intersection.
At stake are attractive prizes and surprises.
The relay, apart from being a Sion Hill Euphonium celebration, also is a move to revive road running in Sion Hill.
The orchestra was formed on April 5, 1981.
