Shotokan Karate Club grades students
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Shotokan Karate Club, under the leadership of Sensei Perry Burke, held a grading (exams) at the clubâs Karate Dojo, at Mc Kies Hill, on Saturday, April 2, 2011, which was deemed successful.{{more}}
A total of 33 Karate students were graded; among them were one for the first degree black Belt (shodan), and two for the second degree Black Belt (Nidan).
The grading was conducted by Sensei Dr. Dexter Shim, a seventh Dan ( 7th Degree) Black Belt from Trinidad and Tobago.
Shim who has been a karate student for over 40 years, is also a qualified medical doctor and ENT specialist.
