The coaches stated that practice is held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; also on Mondays, Thursday and Fridays from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The coaches are of the opinion that if girls are coached from a very young age, they will become very good players. The also commented that it will be much easier to pick a National Team.
The coaches believe that there are many girls who would love to play cricket but who donât know about the game, so they do not come, hence their invitation to interested girls to come out. Jacobs and Burnette also congratulate the National Womenâs Cricket team for coming second in the West Indies Women Cricket tournament, and encourage them to continue to strive for the top.
