In the final game which took place on Wednesday, August 11, Belair Conquerors took first strike and reached 90 for 8 from its 10 overs at the Dauphine Playing Field. Omar Woods of Belair Conquerors struck 51.
Shaquille Dopwellâs 2 for 17 and Javier Baileyâs 2 for 2, were the Apostlesâ most successful bowlers. The bowlers tried their best to keep Belair Conquerors at a minimal score.
Apostles, in reply made 91 for 6 off 9 overs. Raffique Sayersâ hit of 26, Javier Baileyâs 20 and Shane Cordiceâs 14 not out, contributed to the Apostles victory.
Jayvon Jack of Belair Conquerors took 3 for10, but this proved futile in stopping the Apostles.
In the third place play off, which preceded the final, Dallaway Caleb Youths defeated Riley Chronicles One by 13 runs.
Dallaway Caleb Youths racked up 121 for 3 off 10 overs, with Akeen Caesar 70 not out, and Delshon Welcome 15.
Jobary Cunningham took 2 for 15. Riley Chronicles One could only reach 108 for 3 in its10 overs. Cornelius Lewis made 39, Jobary Cunningham 23 and Keson Williams 14.
Lawrence Bascombe was the defeated teamâs best bowler with 2 for 23.
The previous day, Ashburton Sons of God defeated Riley Chronicles Two by 11 runs, to win the five match series 4-1 to retain the Under 12 Division title.
Ashburton Sons of God scored 68 for 4 off 10 overs: Rodneil Tash hit 17 and Darian Bailey 16. Kris Payne took 2 for 13.
Responding, Riley Chronicles One missed out on a victory when the team was dismissed for 67 runs in 9.5 overs. Kemuel Cole was the topscorer with 11.
