Imperial, Middlesex, Cavaliers record victories

It was a good outing for three of the four all Vincy outfits: Imperial, Middlesex and Cavaliers as they were in winners’ row in the Brooklyn Cricket League’s latest matches.{{more}}

Imperial out shone Panthers in their match at the Marine Park

Taking first strike, Panthers made 130 all out. Tristin Charmichael took 2 for 24, Devane Warner 2 for 31 and former Grenada, Windwards and West Indies Under-19 opener, Kester Sylvester also 2 for 31.

Imperial then made light work of the reply, making133 for 3 from 19 overs; Tristin Carmichael struck 34 not out, Foster Lewis 28 not out, and Kester Sylvester 27.

At Sea View, Cavaliers took on Brooklyn Stars. Cavaliers batted first, and were 275 all out in 33 overs.

Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Windwards and West Indies fast bowler, Cameron Cuffy hit 36. Brooklyn Stars replied with 127.

The Middlesex bowlers conjured up their skills as Diplomats made 138 all out.

Deron Denis 4 for 28, Adam Sanford, the former Dominican, Antigua, Leewards and West Indies fast bowler hauled in 2 for 27 and Dominic Audain, a Vincentian who represented the USA at the Under-19 level, picked up 2 for 28.

Joseph Ledwridge then struck 52, Captain Mark Audain 43 and Lester Benn 30 as Middlesex reached 142 for 5 from 32.2 overs. Andre Kirton took 3 for 25, to be the most successful bowler for Middlesex. (RT)
