Alexander is coach and manager of the White Plains International Starz Under-14 male team, which plays under the umbrella of White Plains Youth Soccer Association.
His charges are said to be progressing well in the Westchester Youth Soccer League and the New York State Challenger Cup.
Last Saturday, May 2, International Starz had back to back wins, as they crushed Yonkers Deportivo Chelsea, 6-3, and on Sunday blasted Larchmont Cougars, 4-0.
This Saturday, May 8, International Starz will be in the Quarter Final in the League Competition.
An optimistic Alexander expects his team to maintain its winning ways, which could see them going all the way to the top.
Formerly part of the Scorpions organization, Alexander left in October 2009 and moved to White Plains. Since his departure, the team has not won a match, forcing an exodus of players over to the White Plains Youth Soccer Association.
In the business of coaching for the past seven years, Alexander is a former student of the Emmanuel High School, now called the Dr. J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School.
A holder of a National D Licence, Alexander will this August be seeking his C Licence at the University of Pittsburg.
A former resident of Questelles in South Leeward, Alexander honed his Football skills locally with Chelsea, Tyros of Bequia, and Roseans.
Not abandoning his roots, Alexander said he is in regular contact with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation Technical Director Sammy Carrington.
Alexander hopes to one day come back to his homeland and give of his acquired expertise.(RT)
