Clinchers, already securing the league crown, pounded the inexperienced Nar Fren Dem. It was 14-4 at the sound that ended the first quarter. Clinchers shooters extended the scoreline at the half way mark to 24-8. They ended the third quarter 35-17.

The last quarter, Sea Operations failed to convert, while Clinchers knocked in 7 to win by a whopping 18-goal margin, 42-17.

For Clinchers, Kimesha Antoine poured in 30 of 42 attempts and Shanice Daniel sank 12 of her 15 attempts.

For Nar Fren Dem, Laecian Delplesche had 9 from 16 and Tamara Baptiste scored 8 from her 16 tries.

Like Clinchers, the Division One winners, the powerful ASCO goes in search of the double this Sunday, when it meets Stinger Girls in the Knock Out Final.

Last Sunday, ASCO outpointed Young Strugglers 55-31 in a one sided match up.

This will bring the curtains down on the 2009 edition. Following this Sunday’s Division One Knock Out Final, there will be a presentation and closing ceremony.(RT)
