NCB Layou Inter Village Football League reaches Big four

The four top villages in the NCB Layou Inter-Village Football Competition have been decided.

Through are Texeira Road, Buccament Bay, Ruthland Vale and Middle Street.{{more}}

In the most recent match up, Texeira Road, through goals from Jolanshoy Mc Dowald and Harley Skerritt, scored a two-one win over Middle Street, whose goal was scored by Philon Douglas.

Franklyn Village and Cowdrey Village played to a goalless draw.

Buccament Bay edged out Ruthland Vale three goals to two. Lex Olliver scored twice and Kerwin Mc Dowald once, while Percival Samuel netted both goals for Ruthland Vale.

Two matches were played in the Under-17. Franklyn Village beat Ruthland Vale five-nil. Kareem Dabriel scored a hat trick and there was one each from Dennis Prescott and Martin Patterson.

In the other match, Cowdrey Village went under to Middle Street 2-3. Lemiar Samuel, scored two, and Dustin Lewis the other for the victors. For Cowdrey Village, Jovan Lynch and Kevin John, were the goal scorers. (RT)
