Jack seeking third term

All Executive members of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association, except Second Vice President Clarence “ Paddy” Thomas, will be seeking re-election when that Association holds its Annual General Meeting this Saturday, January 24.{{more}}

President Julian Jack will be seeking his third consecutive two-year term at the helm.

Also seeking re-election are First Vice President Elson Crick, Treasurer Daniel Mc Millan, Assistant Secretary – Thaddeus Seymour, and Secretary Samuel Holder.

The meeting will be held at the President’s Suite at the Arnos Vale Playing Field, from 10am.

Under the constitution of the SVGCA, each affiliated club is allowed to send three members to the AGM.

The AGM will hear and discuss the minutes of the last general meeting, the Executive report and the audited financial statement.

Out going President of the Association, Julian Jack, will make an address at the start of the meeting, in which he will outline the achievements of his body over the last two years.

The new Executive will begin plans almost immediately for the visit of several teams to the state, including Bermuda, Bangladesh and Trinidad and Tobago.
