Victors One in charge

Defending champion of the National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams 20/20 competition Victors One has made a winning start to this year’s competition, which bowled off last Saturday at the Arnos Vale One Playing Field.{{more}}

Victors One easily took out Saints. Donwell Hector topped his team batting with a pugnacious 77. Hector’s innings saw him hitting seven fours and six sixes. Kenny Stapleton hit 49, and Donson Andrews 42 as Victors’ top order took charge to reach 191 for two from their 20 overs. Saints was shot out for 46 in 16. 5 overs. Alston Bobb snared 4 for 8 and Keiron Cottoy 3 for 7.

Victors Two on Sunday, made 158 for 6. Kurtland Lavia 42, Stein Joseph 34, Javed Harry 24. Digicel Neil Williams Academy was restricted to 122 for 8 in their maximum 20 overs. Allandee Ballantyne struck 66, which included nine fours and three sixes. Harry bagged 3 for 28.

Windwards Under -19 opener, Wayne Harper topscored with 50, Hezron Lawerence hit 42, as ECGC Radcliffe reached 164 for 7 off their 20 overs.

National Under 19 player, Jenry took Ollivierre 2 for 34, Shem Browne 3 for 37, bowling for Bequia.

In reply, Bequia made 158 for 5, off their 20 overs. With players free to play with any team, Police Two and national senior opening batsman, Salvan Browne hit 73, made up of six fours and a six. Orlando Billingy struck four sixes in his 36. Drumo Toney had 2 for 21.
