In Saturdayâs only engagement, Owia Shatters succumbed to Simple Boys by 7 runs. Simple Boys made 146 runs all out off 22 of their allotted 25 overs. Ortis Williams hit 60, and Eldon Morris chipped in with 26.
The pair of Osborne Lavia and Dean Browne took 3 wickets each for 17 and 29 runs, respectively. Owia Shatters replied with 139 runs from 25 overs. Shem Browne slammed a brilliant 93. Travis Cumberbatch, 3 for 77, was Simple Boys most successful bowler.
On Sunday, Owia Shatters, in a back to back game, trounced S.D.A. Outlaws by 8 wickets. Outlaws were bowled out for 72 runs off 11 overs. Murray Ollivierre got 26.
Lisburn Lavia enjoyed a 5-wicket haul for 37 runs, bowling for Owia Shatters.
Shatters responded competently reaching their victory target of 73 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Randy Thomas was unbeaten on 25.
