Neil Williams Twenty20 competition bowls-off soon

The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association said on Monday that the National Lotteries Neil Williams Twenty20 competition will begin during the last week of September.{{more}}

The Association has already completed talks with the National Lotteries Authority for sponsorship of the competition.

All clubs that participated in the two major competitions of the association are eligible to compete.

The registration process must be completed by September 22nd, 2008. On that day, the Association will hold a briefing session with all the participating clubs to brief them about the playing conditions.

At stake is a prize purse of $3,000 for the winner, with the runner up taking home $2,000. The losing semi finalists will take home $750.

Last year the competition, in memory of the former Vincentian, Windward Islands and England all-rounder, Neil Williams, was won by Victors 1.
