Rotary Club 20/20 cricket competition bowls-off tomorrow

The Rotary Club of St. Vincent South will launch the opening of its annual firms softball cricket competition on Saturday, 29th September, at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex from 2:00 p.m.{{more}} This year, the club is hosting some 22 teams which will be vying for bragging rights and the grand prize of $1500. This year will see the addition of a new phase of the soft ball cricket in the form of a 20/20 competition among the firms.

The winner of this 20/20 competition will receive $500. This project is among many that the Rotary Club of St. Vincent South will be executing this rotary year, as an aim to raise funds to assist with their many projects.

The Rotary Club of St. Vincent South is spearheading the International Hospital for Children (IHC) project and has raised over $250,000.

The proceeds from this project will go towards the IHC project. Last year’s winner was the SVG Port Authority. They will be defending their title this year.
