This when the Vinlec North Leeward 20/20 Cricket competition continued last weekend at the Petit Bordel Playing Field. Omari Jones chipped in with a patient 41 to assist Small’s massacre.

Hill Top Classics made a spirited reply reaching 192 all out off 19.2 overs. Hayden Ferdinand made a polished 50 while Elgin Richards slammed an aggressive 64.

Doyle Mc Alaster was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 for 20, while Nicholas Delpesche 2 for 37 and Donald Delpesche 2 for 32 gave useful support.

In another fixture, Rangers were dismissed for 178 off 19.3 overs with Cavin Charles hitting 53, Kimal Williams 26 and Kenny Stapleton 25.

Jamil Jeffery 3 for 37, Federal Jeffrey 3 for 28 and Keshern Shallow 2 for 34 turned in good bowling performances for Ajuba.

Ajuba replied with 161 all out off 19.1 overs, Miles Bascombe 29, Jamil Jeffery 27 and Reginald Jeffery 24 being the principal scores.

Somerset recovered well from being 60 for 6 to reach 199 all out off 20 overs thanks to a measured innings of 81 by their captain Hank Hall. Noxeil Michael played the supporting role and was on 22 when the innings ended.

Curtlan Thomas made early inroads into Somerset batting taking 3 for 3. Vivian Caesar 2 for 28, Mayor Edwards 2 for 45 and Orville Franklyn 2 for 52 were among the wickets.

President Klick were 98 for 6 off 10 overs when rain halted the game. Raheen Lavia 23, Orville Franklyn 20 and William Edwards 20 not out were the main contributors with bat.

Nelson Williams and L Bowens both took 2 wickets. Williams 2 for 26 and Bowens 2 for 44.

The competition is moving to the semi final stage.
