The two-day tournament will be played at the Home Depot Centre on February 11 and 12. The West Indies have been drawn in the tough Pool C alongside New Zealand, Australia and Tonga. “You couldn’t ask for it being bigger than this,” said West Indies Coach Joe Whipple.

“We have been drawn alongside some of the biggest and strongest teams in the world – the Aussies and the All Blacks and it will be a challenge, but we have a team that can spring a few surprises.”

The other teams are Pool A: England, France, Kenya and United States; Pool B: Fiji, Argentina, Scotland, Uruguay, and Pool D: South Africa, Samoa, Canada and Mexico.

The team will leave the Caribbean on February 6.
