Bangladesh warm up for big clash

Cricket fans here; in the region and beyond have much reason to be at the Arnos Vale Playing Field tomorrow. They will want to see how the clash between the visiting Bangladesh cricketers and their West Indian counterparts fans out. {{more}}
The two teams will be engaged in back to back fixtures at the same venue over the two days.
Bangladesh warmed to the challenge with a three-wicket win over a West Indies Cricket Board XI Wednesday.
The visitors cruised to 136 for 7 off 41 overs. Habibul Bashar piloted them with a captain’s knock of 47. He got support from Mushfiqur Rahman with 25 not out.
Bangladesh restricted the home team to 135 made off 45.3 overs. Ryan Hinds with 48 was the top scorer, while Sylvester Joseph managed 22.
Manjarul Islam’s 4 for 9 from 9.3 overs held the West Indies at bay, in combination with Khalid Mahmud’s 3 for 33.
Pedro Collins with 2 for 35 and Dwight Washington, 2 for 38 were the pick of the bowlers.
Fans will be keen to see how the senior West Indies team handles the Bangladeshi cricketers. Fans however will be disappointed that World Batting Record holder Brian Lara is out of the match owing to an injured finger.
The West Indies team will be led by Ramnaresh Sarwan and includes Chris Gayle, Devon Smith, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ricardo Powell, Sylvester Joseph, Dwayne Smith, Dwayne Bravo, Ridley Jacobs, Ian Bradshaw, Ravi Rampaul, Fidel Edwards, and Tino Best.
