Skinny Fabulous, Fireman Hooper make virtual collaboration tonight

Tonight, Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle and Delroy “Fireman” Hooper will come together to entertain Vincentians in a virtual celebration.

The initiative, expected to be similar to the display between Jamaican dancehall greats Bounty Killa and Beenie Man, has been made possible by telecommunications provider FLOW.

Dubbed, “The Show You’ve Been Waiting For”, the event begins at 7 pm tonight on @flowstvincent Instagram and Facebook social media pages.

Vincy Mas this year would have run from Friday, June 26 to Tuesday, July 7 with tonight being the Carnival Development Corporation’s (CDC) Evo 4.2 event and tomorrow being the most anticipated competition in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), Soca Monarch.

The collaboration between Fireman and Skinny is much welcomed by Carnival and Soca lovers as the entertainers have a long-standing rivalry in the Soca Monarch arena.

Fireman has 10 Soca Monarch crowns while Skinny has six.

The event is much anticipated as COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of Vincy Mas 2020.
