Chateau man arrested, charged with possession of 50 grammes of cannabis

Last Sunday, Beno Lett, a 33-year-old labourer of Chateaubelair, was arrested and charged with having in his possession 50 grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another, at Lower Bay Bequia on August 18.{{more}}

According to a police report, he was also charged with assaulting PC 139 Oneal Baptiste of Port Elizabeth, by grabbing him by his neck.

Lett faces a third count for resisting the arrest of PC Baptiste, who was acting in the due execution of his duty, at Lower Bay, Bequia, on the same day.
