Where is Bridgewater?
Where is the man who is charged with causing the death of Patrice Bascombe? That was the question on everyoneâs mind at the commencement of Criminal Assizes at the High Court on May 5, 2009.{{more}}
Vivert Bridgewater, 29, of Suriname, who is charged with causing Bascombeâs death by reckless driving and Manslaughter, was nowhere to be found at the arraignment stage of the Assizes. The court was reliably informed by police officials that Bridegwater had absconded the jurisdiction.
Presiding Judge, Frederick Bruce-Lyle ordered that a bench warrant be issued for his arrest.
Bascombe, 17, a Digicel Rising Star competitor at the time of her death, died on September 7, 2006 after she had been in a car accident two days earlier at Lodge Village.
