Labour tasting victory in St Lucia elections

THE St Lucia Labour Party (SLP) of Phillip J. Pierre, looks set to secure a second consecutive victory in general elections held yesterday, Monday, December 1, 2025.

Preliminary results up to just before 9:30 p.m on Monday, indicate that the SLP was leading in more than 11 of the 17 constituencies; the United Workers Party (UWP) of Allan Chastanet, was leading in one- the constituency he is contesting- while the two seats were dominated by independent candidates.
