Barrouallie Secondary reschedules march to 2026

The management of the Barrouallie Secondary School has postponed a public march which was to have taken place on November 20, 2025. The school said the march has now been rescheduled for January 9, 2026. It explained that the change has been occasioned by the announcement of the general elections date last month which has caused the school’s internal examination process to be brought-forward.

“This caused an overlap of the original scheduled date for the march and the school’s exam dates,” the school explained.

“Additionally, due to political activities on the streets, the school’s management found that this is another reason to rescheduled the march to Friday, 9th January, 2026 which is two days before the school’s 55th anniversary.”
