Police investigates homicide in Akers
November 7, 2025 – Kingstown: The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male in Akers. On November 5, 2025, about 3 P.M., the body of Shem Walker, a 25-year-old resident of Daimond / Stubbs was discovered along Akers public road with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The district Medical Officer (DMO) was called to the scene and pronounced Walker dead.
A postmortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death. The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is committed to conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances leading to Mr. Walker’s death. We urge anyone with information that could assist with this and other investigations to come forward.
