Police investigates fire reported at Kingstown Building
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 5, 2025, the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) Fire Brigade responded to a report of a fire at the Police Credit Union Building in Kingstown. On arrival, firefighters discovered flames coming from the ground floor of the building, which houses a retail establishment. The team quickly brought the blaze under control. A large quantity of the establishment’s merchandise was destroyed; however, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the RSVGPF Fire Brigade. The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force commends the quick response of the Fire Brigade and other first responders, whose efforts helped to contain the blaze and prevent further damage to surrounding properties.
